Proper candle burning techniques.

~Place candle on flat surface in an appropriate candle holder. --Never leave a burning candle unattended ~ Jeff, blow them out before you go to bed.

~Trim wick to 1/4" before you light it every time. Longer wicks will create black soot.

~Dip flame into wax pool and pull out- the perfect way to extinguish candles without all the smoke and wax getting on your furniture.

~When burning, keep away from ceiling fans and open doorways to prevent uneven burning and wax dripping down the side the wick is leaning to.

~No direct sunlight - candles fade--Glass containers can get hot - be careful. Keep the wicks straight so they don't burn straight towards the glass - resulting in broken glass and wax all over.

~Two or more candles touching while lit can melt into each other creating a disaster, make sure there is space between burning candles. (make sure the wicks are short and straight- leaning wicks create uneven burning)
